Facebook Like - Shopify app to add Facebook Like button to the store

Facebook Like is a free Shopify app developed by Widgetic for encouraging discussions and make them feel part of the community.

Through this app, visitors can share products across social media. Using this app, the visitors can share the page on their profiles.

This app also helps in increasing visitors and promotes the brand of the company. The link to the button provided by this app should redirect only to company page or valid URL but not profile or group profiles.

This app also displays the number of people who liked the page. Also if any of the friend of the visitors like the page, it shows that message also.

This app builds trust among the customers of the store. It has options to customize layouts or can create a new one.

Also, the background color and size of the buttons created by this app can be customized. To install this app for your store, click Facebook Like by Widgetic .

After going to this page, click Get button.

After clicking the Get button, enter the URL of the store and click Login.

After logging into the store, click the Install app.

After installing the app, you can create a widget. To create your first widget clickCreate a New Widget.

After clicking the Create a new Widget, choose the skin, button size and click Next.

After choosing the skin, select the URL and click Next.

After clicking Next, click Publish.

Then enter the title and click Done.

After clicking the Done, click Embed Widget to get the code for the like button.

After the code is generated, it gives a popup. Copy code to insert in your e-commerce store.

In that choose the width and height. The autoscale option is also provided by the app. To insert button into the store’s homepage, uncheck the Shortcode option and click Copy Code.

Paste the code on the liquid file where you want to see the button.

For example to insert button in header.liquid file, open Themes on Shopify dashboard and click Edit Code.

Open header.liquid and paste the code in the location where you want to see the button and click Save.
